STEP 1 - MEET REQUIREMENTS

Midtown’s requirements are in place to ensure a safe and healthy environment for both pets and staff. Please note that it is best to administer vaccinations at least a few days before coming to Midtown or any kennel.  First, this gives the vaccination time to incubate and thus better protect your pet.  Additionally, some pets may have negative reactions to vaccinations shortly after they are administered. We recommend having your vet fax or email vaccination records prior to your evaluation. You may also bring in a paper copy with you upon check-in.

Requirements for All Dogs (Grooming, Boarding, & Daycare):
+ Current on Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella (Kennel Cough) *Vaccines must be administered by a vet
+ At least 3 months old, although 4 months of age is encouraged for the health of your pet.  All rounds of vaccinations must be completed prior to coming in. Puppies are still developing their immune systems at an early age, thus there is a slightly higher risk factor for young puppies in any kennel environment.

STEP 2 - FILL OUT FORMS

Please select your primary location and fill out the online form before your first day.  You will also be asked to sign a Pet Services Agreement upon arrival.

STEP 3 - EVALUATION (Not Needed for Grooming)

All new boarding and daycare dogs come in for a free evaluation day, which is simply a full day of daycare provided free of charge. During the evaluation, our trained staff will introduce your dog into the play environment and observe how he or she behaves in a social setting; please note, our supervised playgroups typically contain 15+ dogs. This process not only helps us to ensure the safety and compatibility of all dogs visiting Midtown, but acclimates your dog to our environment.

 Once your dog completes the evaluation, you are free to book boarding and daycare reservations as needed!
